Removal requests

Want a demo site taken down? Just ask.

It comes down within 24 hours of your email. You don't need a reason and there's no back-and-forth.

What these sites are

Wicked Fast Web builds free demo redesigns of local business websites, to show an owner what a faster, mobile-friendly site could look like. Nobody asked for them.

They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid for by the business shown.

What they aren't

There are no ads, no checkout and no affiliate links on a demo page, and visitors are never charged for anything there.

The business's name, logo, text and photos belong to the business or their respective owners. They're used only to show the redesign.

How removal works

Email us. Within 24 hours the demo site and its before-and-after page come down, and we confirm by reply. We also add your business to a do-not-contact list, so you won't hear from us again.

We submit a removal request to Google Search for the address, so it stops appearing in results while search engines catch up. Once the page is gone, search engines drop it for good the next time they check.

Confusing customers?

Every demo site carries a notice at the bottom saying it's an independent redesign, not affiliated with or endorsed by the business shown. If one is still being mistaken for the business's own site, tell us and it comes down the same day.

Not the business owner?

If you're a photographer, designer or other rights holder and something on a demo site is yours, use the same email. Same 24 hours.

Request a removal

The button opens an email with the details already filled in. Add your name and hit send.

Replace the blank in the subject line with the address of the demo site, which ends in .wickedfastweb.com.
