A real person, not a bot farm

Hi, I'm Ted.

I'm a retired tech executive from the South Shore of Boston. These days I build refreshed websites for local businesses, and I'm happy to answer questions about anything website, marketing or technology.

A little about me

I grew up on the South Shore and spent a good stretch of my career in the Bay Area, working as a VP of Engineering for software companies large and small, mostly in finance and IoT. Along the way I started a company that Thomson Reuters acquired, and I've led hundreds of people.

I'm retired from that world now, and I wanted what comes next to be creative, challenging and useful to somebody. Refreshing websites for good local businesses turns out to be all three.

The way it works: I find a business that does great work but has a website that doesn't show it, I build them a new one, and I send it over so they can see it. If it's not for them, no hard feelings.

When I'm not at the keyboard you'll find me at the beach, on a golf course, on a tennis court, or in the kitchen. I'm easy to talk to, and if you have a website, marketing or technology question, ask away or just say Hi.

And yes, that's my dog down below, Hashtag.

Home base

Humarock (part of Scituate) is a skinny little beach neighborhood on the South Shore, a short drive from Boston, towards Cape Cod, and it's home, I love it.

Humarock, Massachusetts. Somewhere along this strip, with no pin on my house.

Around here

If you own a local business and you'd like to see what a refreshed website could look like for you, I'd be glad to show you.
