Hi, I'm Ted. I build websites for local businesses. More about me
What we improved
The old Wix site buried the entire menu inside image uploads and nested Drink/Eat dropdowns, so nothing was searchable or readable on a phone. The new site puts real menu text and prices, Sunday brunch, weekly specials, hours and tap-to-call up front, with the riverside deck photo leading the page.
We tested your current site on an iPhone-sized screen. We found 6 issues and fixed them in the new site. What's already working is marked too.
Built on Wix, a do-it-yourself site builder. Template sites look like thousands of others and limit design, speed and how well Google can read the page.
On an iPhone the site has 11 buttons and links too small to tap comfortably. Most local searches happen on a phone, and people leave pages that are awkward to use there.
The page downloads 1.9 MB across 161 files. Visitors give up after about three seconds.
The menu leads to about 14 different pages. A focused site gets visitors to the phone call faster.
The contact email is a free @gmail.com address (a [email protected] address looks more established). Visitors decide in seconds whether you look established.
4 of the 5 things search engines and AI assistants look for are in place. Missing: a share preview (Open Graph image) and canonical address. Help Google and AI find you, trust you, and send you customers.
Loads over HTTPS (the padlock).
All 13 links we tried worked.
Nothing out of date that we could find.
Measured October 16, 2026. The new site fixes every issue above.
Before customers call or walk in, many check your website on their phone. If it looks dated or loads slowly, they quietly move on, and you never know it happened.
So I rebuilt Riverhouse Weir Village's site: fast, modern, great on phones, and easy for Google and AI assistants to read. It's finished and waiting. No sales call, no design meetings, nothing to approve. If anything's wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.
$500 to launch, then $25/month for hosting. I handle go-live myself: a quick DNS change, about 10 minutes. One or two extra customers a month and it pays for itself. Don't like it? Nothing changes, no contract. (An agency would charge $3,000–$5,000 and take weeks.)
“Since you created the website, I receive at least two or three calls every week from people who found me on the internet. This never happened before with the old website.”
This is a fully built, real site — not a sketch — created on spec to show what's possible. Recognize your business? Get in touch to claim it or have it removed.
