Hi, I'm Ted. I build websites for local businesses. More about me
What we improved
The old site was a 2010-era layout split across five pages with the phone number and hours buried in a tiny footer. The new site leads with the phone and hours above the fold, puts the full price list on one scrolling page, and keeps the product lines and directions a tap away on mobile.
We tested your current site on an iPhone-sized screen. We found 6 issues and fixed them in the new site. What's already working is marked too.
Built on Squarespace, a do-it-yourself site builder. Template sites look like thousands of others and limit design, speed and how well Google can read the page.
Loads without HTTPS. Browsers label these sites "Not secure" right next to your name.
On an iPhone the site is missing the tag that tells phones to fit the page to the screen, and has 9 buttons and links too small to tap comfortably. Most local searches happen on a phone, and people leave pages that are awkward to use there.
There is no main headline on the home page; 1 of 2 images have no description for screen readers and Google. Visitors decide in seconds whether you look established.
1 of the 5 things search engines and AI assistants look for are in place. Missing: business facts Google and AI read directly (LocalBusiness schema); a sitemap and robots.txt; a fast, secure, phone-first site (not secure, not phone-friendly); a share preview (Open Graph image) and canonical address. Help Google and AI find you, trust you, and send you customers.
We did not find a tap-to-call phone link, a contact form. Every extra step between "I need help" and the phone ringing loses customers.
Loaded in 0.8 seconds.
A compact site (about 6 pages).
All 5 links we tried worked.
Nothing out of date that we could find.
Measured October 16, 2026. The new site fixes every issue above.
Before customers call or walk in, many check your website on their phone. If it looks dated or loads slowly, they quietly move on, and you never know it happened.
So I rebuilt The Hair Solution's site: fast, modern, great on phones, and easy for Google and AI assistants to read. It's finished and waiting. No sales call, no design meetings, nothing to approve. If anything's wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.
$500 to launch, then $25/month for hosting. I handle go-live myself: a quick DNS change, about 10 minutes. One or two extra customers a month and it pays for itself. Don't like it? Nothing changes, no contract. (An agency would charge $3,000–$5,000 and take weeks.)
“Since you created the website, I receive at least two or three calls every week from people who found me on the internet. This never happened before with the old website.”
This is a fully built, real site — not a sketch — created on spec to show what's possible. Recognize your business? Get in touch to claim it or have it removed.
