Hi, I'm Ted. I build websites for local businesses. More about me

$500 to launch, then $25/month. No contract.

What we improved

The old site was a fixed-width image-and-table layout with the phone numbers and address baked into a banner picture, and the three showrooms hidden behind a Locations page of map images. The new site leads with the family name, 1896 and a tap-to-call number, lays out all three showrooms with directions, makes the Free Engraving Estimate a clear call-or-email step, and shows the granite colors and finished stones on one scrollable page that works on a phone.

W. C. Canniff & Sons Monuments — Site Checklist

We tested your current site on an iPhone-sized screen. We found 5 issues and fixed them in the new site. What's already working is marked too.

  • Secure connection Issue

Loads without HTTPS. Browsers label these sites "Not secure" right next to your name.

  • On an iPhone Issue

On an iPhone the site is missing the tag that tells phones to fit the page to the screen, and has small, hard-to-read text (1 pieces under 12px), and has 7 buttons and links too small to tap comfortably. Most local searches happen on a phone, and people leave pages that are awkward to use there.

  • Polish Issue

There is no main headline on the home page; 9 of 9 images have no description for screen readers and Google. Visitors decide in seconds whether you look established.

  • Google & AI readiness Issue

1 of the 5 things search engines and AI assistants look for are in place. Missing: business facts Google and AI read directly (LocalBusiness schema); a sitemap and robots.txt; a fast, secure, phone-first site (not secure, not phone-friendly); a share preview (Open Graph image) and canonical address. Help Google and AI find you, trust you, and send you customers.

  • Easy to reach Issue

We did not find a tap-to-call phone link, a contact form, business hours on the home page. Every extra step between "I need help" and the phone ringing loses customers.

  • Site platform Working well

    No do-it-yourself site builder detected.

  • Speed Working well

    Loaded in 0.4 seconds.

  • Simplicity Working well

A compact site (about 1 pages).

  • Links Working well

All 6 links we tried worked.

  • Up to date Working well

Nothing out of date that we could find.

Measured October 17, 2026. The new site fixes every issue above.

Your website, rebuilt. Finished and waiting.

  • Built for phones
  • Loads fast

Before customers call or walk in, many check your website on their phone. If it looks dated or loads slowly, they quietly move on, and you never know it happened.

So I rebuilt W. C. Canniff & Sons Monuments's site: fast, modern, great on phones, and easy for Google and AI assistants to read. It's finished and waiting. No sales call, no design meetings, nothing to approve. If anything's wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.

$500 to launch, then $25/month for hosting. I handle go-live myself: a quick DNS change, about 10 minutes. One or two extra customers a month and it pays for itself. Don't like it? Nothing changes, no contract. (An agency would charge $3,000–$5,000 and take weeks.)

“Since you created the website, I receive at least two or three calls every week from people who found me on the internet. This never happened before with the old website.”

This is a fully built, real site — not a sketch — created on spec to show what's possible. Recognize your business? Get in touch to claim it or have it removed.
